Pineapple Support, Paxum Launch Substance Use and Sobriety Support Group

LOS ANGELES — Pineapple Support will host a free monthly online support group, sponsored by Paxum, to help performers navigate substance use and sobriety.

“Balanced Pathways: Navigating Moderation or Sobriety” will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Dr. Monique Martinez, beginning Monday at 4 p.m. PST.

"We are thankful for the opportunity to contribute to the vital services Pineapple Support offers to adult industry professionals," a Paxum rep offered. "In recent years, Pineapple Support has significantly improved the mental health and well-being of thousands of content creators by providing valuable resources such as professional therapy, supportive workshops and comprehensive mental health guidance within a safe and inclusive environment. As the preferred global payment service for the industry, Paxum takes pride in backing Pineapple Support's ongoing efforts through our sponsorship."

Pineapple Support founder Leya Tanit said, "We launched this support group in response to recent events in the industry, ensuring we are acting fast to address the needs of performers. Whether or not you’re sober, or want to be, we’re hoping to create a supportive environment to explore wellness and balance. Dr. Martinez will offer innovative approaches to help navigate the spectrum from problematic substance use to moderation or complete sobriety. We all have individual journeys and choices, and we want to provide people with a fresh perspective on recovery."

The one-hour group sessions will take place online the first Monday of each month.
