LOS ANGELES — The popular X3 Cosplay Showdown will return to X3 Expo this month, sponsored by cosplay and movie parody paysite Cosplayground.
The event will be held Saturday, Jan. 20 at 3:30 p.m. on the grand X3 stage, and will be hosted by “Naked News” anchor and “Flex Appeal” host Eila Adams.
Prizes include $1,000 cash, plus the opportunity to be cast in a big-budget Cosplayground original production in 2024.
Last year’s contest wowed fans with performers and creators strutting in cosplay based on comics, television shows, video games, movies, sci-fi and fantasy — including impressive homemade creations.

Skinfluential Media launched Cosplayground.com earlier this month, dubbing it “the ComicCon for sexy cosplay and Cineplex for porn parody.” The site features premium content from top studios and big-budget productions created by award-winning producers, directors and performers.
