Adam & Eve Reveals Results of Same-Sex Marriage Survey

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Adam & Eve has released the results of a new survey asking the question, “Should same-sex marriage be recognized by the church and the state?” 

Among poll respondents, 56% said that gay marriage should be recognized both religiously and by the government, with another 10% saying it should be recognized but with some restrictions.

Conversely, 26% of respondents said that same-sex marriage should not be recognized by either church or state, with the rest responding that they were unsure.

“At the end of the day, adults should be able to choose who they want to love and spend their lives with,” said Dr. Jenni Skyler, resident sexologist at Adam & Eve. “No matter your sexual orientation, I don’t believe marriage should be regulated by the government. While advancements have been made in the LGBTQ+ community and with same-sex marriage, there is still much work to be done.”

The web-based survey of over 1,000 American adults aged 18 and up, conducted by an independent company, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices.
