LONDON — Dusk Films has announced the new cast members for the Season 13 finale of its “Nerd Pervert” series, set to be released on Dec. 22.
As XBIZ reported, the series was disrupted last year when actor Craig Colson, who portrayed one of the leading trio, passed away. Colson starred on the show for six seasons.
After his passing, producer and co-star Paul Taylor wrote around Colson’s character.
“It was tough, shooting scenes with less performers and then using old footage and retconning the plot for episodes featuring Craig that we had not yet released,” Taylor explained. “He loved the show, and the attention and lovely comments he got from being in it, I know he would have wanted us to still release the scenes we had left of him.”
Colson's role has been recast with performer Mark Gotham, along with two new characters played by Nurse Tilly and Tom English.
“Mark is introduced as Chris Cumming’s old friend, now moved back to the area, and his appearances are just starting to air on the show through November,” a rep explained.
“Mark’s full role will kick off in season 14 starting in January, and it’s looking very promising indeed,” Taylor added. “We seem to have good chemistry on set. It's looking a like a whole new, different trio dynamic between all of our characters.”
