Good Housekeeping's 'Best Vibrators of 2023' List Topped by Magic Wand

NEW YORK — Good Housekeeping magazine has published its ranking of the “15 Best Vibrators of 2023” according to its reviewers and sexperts, topped by the Magic Wand.

“When it comes to sex toys, everything's coming up roses — literally,” the magazine’s Luisa Colón wrote. “Unlike the fairly uniform vibrators of yesteryear, some of the most currently beloved vibrators have taken the form of red, waterproof, silicone blossoms. And the innovation doesn’t stop there — these new gadgets don’t just vibrate, they thrust, simulate oral sex and even put on a little light show.”

Mariah Freya, founder of sexual wellness platform Beducated, told Good Housekeeping, “The best reasons for using a vibrator go beyond just chasing pleasure; it's a path to self-discovery through experimentation, can enrich intimate moments and may even be a solution to specific sexual health issues such as less natural lubrication. Your pathway to pleasure is just as unique as you are. Vibrators can help you understand your likes and dislikes in the bedroom better.”

The surveyed reviewers and experts crowned the Magic Wand rechargeable personal massager as “Best Overall Vibrator.”

“The Magic Wand is a classic in the world of vibrators, and for good reason, too,” wrote Freya, who also recommended it as especially suited for beginners.

Freya also extolled the Wand’s “deep, rumbling vibrations, pillowy head, with a soft-to-the-touch feel that's also firm.”

“Ladies,” she concluded, “if you use this, make sure you give yourself at least 15 minutes to recover afterward — unlike the battery, you'll be drained.”
