LOS ANGELES — 2022 XBIZ Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue will compete this weekend at the National Auto Sport Association race at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, driving a car sponsored by pleasure brand Bad Dragon.
Blue will compete in the Spec E 30 class with his yellow-and-black No. 76 Bad Dragon BMW 325i under the banner of Mick Blue Racing. He currently ranks second in the standings, 45 points behind the current leader with six races to go in the season.
“I’m super excited to go racing this weekend,” Blue said. “Huge thanks to Bad Dragon for sponsoring me this season and making it possible to have a great front-running car.”
Bad Dragon started sponsoring Blue in 2018. Four years later, in 2022, Blue unveiled his custom BMW.
“The competition will be tough as always, with more than 12 cars in my class,” Blue noted, adding that he will post a live link to his social media accounts before the race, and that he also looks forward to competing again later this month, at the Chuckwalla Valley Raceway.
