LELO Debuts 'Soraya Beads' Anal Massager

STOCKHOLM, Sweden — LELO has debuted Soraya Beads, an anal massager designed for women.

Soraya Beads’ cascading design features four gradually increasing beads with a range of pleasure settings.

Though it was designed with women in mind, the rep added, “it is in fact a genderless toy that can be enjoyed by all, and treats individuals to a slew of new and exciting sensations. The Soraya Beads can be used by every open-minded person comfortable with their body and sexual desires and curious about experimenting with anal play.

“Soraya Beads is intended for maximum comfort when exploring anal pleasure, thus making it a perfect entry-level anal toy that allows users to gently explore a completely new world of arousal and pleasure,” the rep said. “The design aims to give pleasure while inserting the beads, but also when pulling them out, giving the user an euphoric rush. Inspired by the movements of violin players, Soraya Beads’ ‘bow-motion’ technology mimics the stroking motion of a violin bow. The beads in the toy move in a wave-like motion, allowing users to feel the movement from top to bottom.”

To promote its new anal massager, LELO conducted a survey of 8,400 people, in which the company asked a variety of questions about their thoughts and experiences with anal sex. According to the survey, 35% of global participants and 40% of U.S. participants actually have anal sex. Forty-eight percent of global participants responded they do not engage in anal sex, and one in nine people did not disclose whether they do or do not.

According to LELO, 26% of participants said they "get a thrill from the feeling that anal play is taboo."
