The Stockroom, 'How to Build a Sex Room' Host Team Up for Limited Collection

LOS ANGELES — The Stockroom has released a new limited-edition collection of bondage gear in collaboration with Melanie Rose, host of the hit Netflix show “How to Build a Sex Room.”

The Melanie Rose Designs x The Stockroom Collection includes what the company bills as the five necessities for any kinky bondage scene: a blindfold, collar, leash, wrist cuffs and a restraint clip.

Each piece has been handmade in Stockroom’s Los Angeles workshop with a limited run of 75 pieces each.

The items in the collection are made from braided cranberry and black leather, accented with gold-plated hardware.

“While the items may be common gear, their design is anything but,” a rep offered. “This set’s grace and elegance make it the perfect gift for the upcoming holidays, yet each piece is still durable enough for everyday play.”

Rose said, “It was a joy to work with the experts at the Stockroom to realize my vision for these pieces. The creative team at the Stockroom took my idea and elevated it into something incredibly special.”

Stockroom Marketing Coordinator Christine Gillette added, “Melanie’s style and approach are very similar to what we do at the Stockroom. We’ve got a reputation for being people’s first stop when they’re just starting to explore their kinky side. Naturally, we couldn’t resist the chance to collaborate with her.”

Rose hosted the official product launch at Stockroom’s flagship store earlier this month. According to Purchasing Manager Whitney Petty, the launch already made a sizable dent in the limited run.

“It’s clear that people are as excited about this new line as we are,” she said. “We’ve always been proud of our skilled design team, and this is really an example of them at their peak. For this collection, we really enjoyed deviating from our signature materials and developing the unique elements that define the pieces, like the cranberry exotic leather and gold rose rivets.”
