LOS ANGELES — Aorta Films is currently casting for its latest title, “Haunted.”
“‘Haunted’ is a short film written by Carmen Maria Machado, produced by Aorta Films and directed by Mahx Capacity,” said a rep. “The story is — when the resident of an apartment reports a haunting, a team of documentary filmmakers arrive to record or debunk the unquiet spirit. It’s a tense situation including a trickster spirit with a few mind games up their sleeves. No one is prepared for the gratification that comes from being held in the camera’s gaze or opening up for an adversary — and the intensely pleasurable revelations that follow.”
“The studio is seeking queer performers who are 21 and older, and who have previous experience in porn, sex work and/or kink,” added the rep. “People of all races, sexes/genders, sizes, body types and abilities are encouraged to apply.”
The casting call will be open until Sept. 22.
