LOS ANGELES — Maitland Ward is the latest guest on two podcasts — "Vulnerable" with Christy Carlson Romano, and Spotify’s "Forbidden Fruits" with Julia Fox and Niki Takesh.
Ward discusses her transition from mainstream to the adult industry and how her life, relationships and perspective has changed over the years as a result.
On "Vulnerable," Ward speaks to Romano about her path to adult entertainment through cosplaying, women directing and producing adult content, and feeling comfortable on set.
She tells Fox and Takesh on "Forbidden Fruits" about her formative years, claiming her sexuality as a content creator, and the surprisingly supportive response she received from friends, family and former co-workers after launching her adult film career in 2019.
“It was a positive experience overall," Ward shares in the interview. "I did have a great conversation with the producer from 'Boy Meets World.' He said he was proud of me, and he told me something that I really think is important — ‘Don’t separate mainstream acting from porn acting. I see you, you’re an actress. That is who you are.’ And I really appreciate that.”
