NEW YORK — Gerard Damiano Jr. and sister Christar will appear on the “In Hot Water” podcast in advance of a local screening of their father’s film, “Deep Throat.”
“On what would have been writer/director Gerard Damiano’s 95 Birthday, CineKink will honor him with a screening of his most notorious film ‘Deep Throat,’” said a rep. “His son and daughter, Gerard Jr. and Christar Damiano, will appear to present their 4K restoration, which is considered to be the definitive version of the film, live.”
“This will be followed by a talkback, moderated by CineKink Founder and Director Lisa Vandever,” the rep added. “The Damianos will share their stories of being on location in Miami during the filming of ‘Deep Throat,’ and they will be joined by a panel of illustrious guests to discuss the history, cultural impact and controversy surrounding the film.”
The screening will take place at CineKink in New York, on Friday, August 4, at 9 p.m. (EDT).
