'Ask Nyomi Bridging The Gap' Podcast Scores Urban X Awards Nom

LOS ANGELES — The “Ask Nyomi Bridging The Gap” podcast has earned a nomination at the 2023 Urban X Awards for Most Popular Radio Show/Podcast.  

"We are incredibly honored to be nominated for an Urban X Award in the Popular Adult Podcast category," said podcast host Nyomi Banks. "Our podcast aims to create a safe space for open conversations about sex, relationships and personal growth. This nomination is a testament to the impact our show has had on its listeners and we are excited to continue bridging the gap between important topics and our audience."

In related news, the show will feature special guest Dr. Tina Schermer Sellers, author of "Shameless Parents and Sex, God and The Conservative Church," for its July 20 episode. The episode will feature discussions about parenting and navigating sexuality and spirituality within the context of conservative environments.
