BARCELONA — Sabien DeMonia was awarded the Recognition Award at last week's Bucharest Summit Awards ceremony.
DeMonia was nominated in five categories but walked away with the special recognition, honoring her work as a long-time Bucharest Summit ambassador and the impact she's made of the ambassador program.
The award was presented by the CEO of Bucharest Summit, Ruxandra. DeMonia proceeded to dedicate the award to all the ambassadors, her publicist and Ruxandra in her acceptance speech.
“I was honored to receive such a special award and be recognized for being an ambassador and impacting the entire ambassador’s program," enthused DeMonia. "It was really unexpected, but it meant so much to me."
