SAN FRANCISCO — The 50th anniversary screening tour of “Deep Throat” will continue at Oasis on June 8 at 6 p.m.
“The definitive version of the film will be presented by Gerard Jr. and Christar Damiano, son and daughter of writer/director, Gerard Damiano Sr.,” said a rep. “Following the screening, they will be joined by eco-sexual activist Annie Sprinkle and legends of the golden age of porn Dr. Sharon Mitchell and Richard Pacheco for a discussion on the history, cultural impact and controversies surrounding ‘Deep Throat.’”
“The event will be moderated by Carol Queen, co-founder of the Center for Sex and Culture,” added the rep. “Gerard Jr. and Christar will share their stories of being on location in Miami during the filming of ‘Deep Throat’ and growing up with ‘The King of Porn.’”
A drag burlesque show will follow the talkback. This will feature performances by Cheetah Biscotti, Mary Vice, Phoebe Cakes and Lady Monster, and it will conclude with a 70s-themed dance party. Attendees are encouraged to dress “porno chic” and will be given goodie bags provided by UltraFleshArchives.com.
