LOS ANGELES — Leana Lovings stars in the latest episode "True Lesbian" series from Girlsway.
Directed by Anatomik Media, “Grand Gesture” features Lovings alongside Gizelle Blanco in a romantic and sensual portrayal of a young lesbian couple that contemplates attending a school prom.
According to the synopsis, Lovings is anxious about attending prom as a same-sex couple as the event would be her official coming out. Blanco notices and assures Lovings that it's okay to wait and delay her coming out until she's ready. The pair decide not to attend prom and opt for a romantic night together instead.
Lovings mused on parallels between the script and her own life.
“I had no expectations of how deep this scene would hit me,” she said. “It felt like a love letter to the me that grew up in a conservative school, with no knowledge of my sexual identity. Working in porn has helped me feel so many things, but this scene confronted the thing I never knew I needed at eighteen: acceptance."
She continued, “Adult Time, Bree Mills and the crew are always so supportive, and Gizelle Blanco was, of course, the perfect partner."
