Maitland Ward Wins 3rd Consecutive 'Best Actress' Title at 2023 XRCO Awards

LOS ANGELES — Maitland Ward has won the title of Best Actress at the 2023 XRCO Awards Show, held this past Thursday, for her showcase performance in Deeper’s dramatic feature, "Drift."

This marks Ward's third consecutive Best Actress win at the XRCO Awards, having previously taken home the title in 2021 and 2022 for "Muse" and "Muse Season 2," respectively.

Upon "Drift’s" completion last year, Ward shared with fans that she and the film’s director, Kayden Kross, “went way outside the box this time to create a five-part feature spectacle like no other” that examines the public persona and private affairs of a popular rom-com actress.

Regarding her latest win, Ward enthused, “A big thank you to the X-Rated Critics Organization’s editors and reviewers for selecting me as XRCO’s ‘Best Actress’ for a third straight year. However, an actor’s talent shines brightest when nurtured by exceptional writing, direction and behind-the-scenes expertise, so I want to also thank Kayden Kross and the amazing crew at Deeper for their incredible collaborative artistry and support.”

In related news Ward, who signed on as a contract star for Deeper and Vixen Media Group in 2019, recently announced a two-year extension on her exclusive deal into 2025, featuring a variety of upcoming projects that she will also write and direct.
