LOS ANGELES — Grooby has revamped recently-acquired paysite Thirdsex and launched it as new membership site RealTgirls.com.
"When we took over Thirdsex, we loved the content but didn't care for the name or branding," said CEO Steven Grooby. "The premise of this site is simple. We wanted to find a way we could help support our performers, monetize their older fan/clip content, and also create a product our supporters would love."
Grooby will license content from trans creators for the new site while allowing them to retain ownership.
"It allows content creators to license their content to us while retaining ownership of it and are able to continue to sell it on their own clip and fan sites," said a rep. "Creators/performers can make $300-$500 for each scene, so it's especially good for those who have already monetized their scenes and want to squeeze a little more from them."
Content submitted to the site must be full-length (20-40 minutes) and shot in 4K; must be partnered scenes that are well-shot and edited; must be logo-free as the site will add its own logos; must feature established stars and/or content creators with good followings; must not be publicly available for free on other sites; and must include 2257 model releases for each performer.
