LONDON — Grooby will sponsor the Trans Performer of the Year Award at the upcoming 2023 Support Network for Adult Professionals (SNAP) ceremony.
“I'm British so, of course, I love to see the UK trans performers on the rise,” said Grooby CEO Steven Grooby. “When I started in London in the late 1990s, there were a tiny few trans models I was aware of. Over the subsequent two decades, we've had a few false starts in the U.K. industry but over the last couple of years, I've really seen a lift in the amount of new trans performers. We're really proud and happy to support SNAP with this, and look forward to the event.”
The event, formerly known as the United Kingdom Adult Professional (UKAP) awards, will be presented at a live ceremony Thursday June 15 at the Steelyard in London; nominee voting is open through May 15; click here to cast your ballots.
