LOS ANGELES — Pornhub today released a star-studded trailer for its fifth annual Pornhub Awards, taking place April 20.
The show will celebrate “the biggest and best” in each of Pornhub’s unconventional categories, as well as the top channels and most popular networks.

According to the company, the Pornhub Awards are data-driven, meaning winners are determined using algorithms based on video views, porn star searches and more. This year’s awards boast 50 categories, and include a number of new categories that celebrate diversity and inclusivity.
This year’s nominees have been announced on the official event website, where visitors can vote for their favorites in fan-voted categories until April 10, and where the winners will be unveiled on April 20 at 8 a.m. (PDT).
In addition to recognizing adult industry performers with cash prizes, Pornhub will be donating to Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP) Behind Bars, a group with which the site has partnered in the past.
Los Angeles Event Will Celebrate Nominees
An exclusive in-person celebration for the nominees, set for April 20 in Los Angeles, is being produced by Barlow & Sons. Creative duo The Ion Pack will DJ the event and compose the musical score for the winners’ videos. An announcement revealing this year’s headliner is forthcoming.
Fashion designer Luis De Javier will be dressing Pornhub ambassadors Asa Akira, Kira Noir, Natassia Dreams and Pornhub Aria in custom pieces inspired by the Pornhub brand. De Javier will also be opening his archive to dress five selected nominee muses: Cherie DeVille, Kayley Gunner, Kazumi, Luna Star and Scarlit Scandal.
“I’m thrilled to take part in this ritual of sexual liberation and glamour, dressing beautiful creatures from an industry which I am proudly part of and take inspiration from,” said De Javier. “Continuing to draw upon the queer movement disregarding general gender conformities — more than having made a line for women as a gender, per se — the pieces for the awards reference female empowerment as a concept, offering strength through style to a community who has been long under-supported.”
Asa Akira said she was honored to have De Javier create a custom design for her.
“Not only is Luis’ work innovative, sexy, and boundary-pushing, but he intentionally incorporates sex workers into his fashion work and runway shows,” she said. “His inclusivity and recognition of our industry is to be applauded.”
Sex worker charity SWOP Behind Bars was selected by Pornhub based on the strength of its mission, and to help support and build the organization’s service infrastructure.
“SWOP Behind Bars is delighted to partner with Pornhub in expanding our Sex Worker Community Support Line and Resource Directory,” said Blair Hopkins, the group’s executive director. “We are dedicated to confronting and overcoming the unique barriers to well-being faced by adult industry professionals, and to engaging meaningfully with the community we serve.
