BaDoink Releases 1st CGI-Based VR Production, 'Bayonetta'

LOS ANGELES — BaDoink has released its first CGI-based production through its studio imprint VRCosplayX, titled “Bayonetta, A XXX Parody,” starring Alex Coal.

Hack and slash-style video game “Bayonetta 3” was released on the Nintendo Switch last year.

“BaDoink has taken a leaf out of Hollywood’s book and has begun shooting VR porn scenes that utilize 100% CGI environments,” said a rep.

According to a rep, in the title, Coal portrays pistol-wielding umbra witch Bayonetta, who takes on the strength of the Alphaverse, but not before a steamy encounter in an entirely CGI apocalyptic city setting.

The rep noted that VRCosplayX has been releasing a weekly VR cosplay production since its inception in late 2016, and that the studio is now looking to expand its playbook by shooting select scenes in front of a green screen and recreating the environment using 3D software.

Content Director Lucas Elliot, who creates each 3D environment in-house, said, “Shooting with 3D in mind can be very challenging. Lighting is of paramount importance when shooting these scenes. If there are too many shadows, the chroma key process becomes next to impossible. That being said, we’re happy to rise to the challenge and our early results are very promising.”

Alex Coal enthused about shooting in front of a green screen.

“I felt like it allowed my imagination to take over,” she said. “My viewers have been asking me to cosplay Bayonetta for so long. When I saw that she was the character I'd be playing, it made me even more excited for the scene. I hope I did her justice.!”

“Bayonetta, A XXX Parody” is available for streaming or download on VRCosplayX.
