HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adam & Eve Pictures has released the trailer for Will Ryder's “Love, Sex & Robots,” a sci-fi sex thriller starring Kira Noir.
The feature dives into the Silicon Valley world of artificial intelligence and robotics, providing a sinister look at what can go wrong when humans and technology mingle.
“I don’t think we’re too far away from this type of truly scary scenario playing out in real life,” Ryder remarked.
Noir plays an artificial intelligent fembot named DANA, which stands for “Digital Algorithm Neurocomputing Assistant.”
"What is intended as a safe and easy in-home helper for consumer use becomes anything but safe," a rep explained.
The feature co-stars Maria Kazi, Kiara Cole, Pristine Edge, Athena Anderson, Zerella Skies, Mazy Myers, Tyler Cruise, Brad Newman, Rob Carpenter, Rusty Nails and Frank Bukkwyd.
