Betty Beauty Founder Nancy Jarecki to Guest Moderate #SexTalkTuesday

BOSTON — Nancy Jarecki, founder of Betty Beauty, will serve as special guest moderator on next week’s edition of the Twitter-based chat show #SexTalkTuesday, to discuss “grooming the hair down there.”

A rep described Jarecki as “a trailblazing innovator who founded Betty Beauty Inc. in 2006, a company known for its award-winning ‘Betty — color for the hair down there,’ a safe-to-use hair dye specially formulated for ‘hair down there’ and an anti-aging and confidence-boosting must-have for covering gray hairs.”

Prior to founding Betty Beauty, Jarecki launched entertainment channel Movietime in 1987, and was part of the launch team for the network now known as E! Entertainment Television. In 1999, Jarecki and her husband, Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Andrew Jarecki, sold their company, MovieFone, to AOL Time Warner. In 2009 she survived a near-death subarachnoid brain hemorrhage and is currently writing a memoir about her medical recovery. Jarecki works with NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center’s brain health initiative programs.

“We are beyond honored to have a pioneer and entrepreneur like Nancy join #SexTalkTuesday,” said Angie Rowntree, founder of Sssh.com and producer of #SexTalkTuesday. “As recently as this past week, we noticed many animated discussions on Twitter from both fans and adult performers about pubic hair preferences on themselves or a partner. Whether you think ‘bush is back’ or Brazilian is the way, we welcome everyone to join in the conversation.”

Participate in the discussion by following the #SexTalkTuesday hashtag and visit the show online and on Twitter.
