Penthouse Names Renee Olstead January 'Pet of the Month'

LOS ANGELES — Penthouse Magazine has named actress, model and singer Renee Olstead as "Pet of the Month" for January.

Olstead, best known for roles on CBS' "Still Standing" and ABC's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," adorns the cover of the January/February edition of Penthouse, wearing western wear and the signature Penthouse key.

"Renee has all the qualities we look for," said Penthouse CEO Moose. "Not only is she beautiful on the outside, she is also kind, genuine, down-to-earth, and witty with a great sense of humor. Beyond all of that, her talent is off the charts. She is an amazing performer with an incredible singing voice, very professional in every sense, and it translates throughout all her photos."

Olstead shared her excitement at being selected, saying, "Posing nude is still new territory for me. "But I’ve been collecting vintage Penthouse paraphernalia for quite a while now and jumped at the chance for an interview when Penthouse Photo Director Sam [Phillips] slid into my DMs."

Phillips enthused about Olstead.

"Renee's story is amazing," he said. "She is one of the coolest (if not THE coolest) chicks I have ever met. You have to read about her Hollywood accomplishments at an early age to really appreciate where she's chosen to go next in her career, which is Penthouse Magazine."

Creative Director Drew Rosenfeld noted, "Our January 'Pet' Rene Olstead kicks off the New Year, and we could not be more excited about this model."
