On Monday, Jan. 9, event registration opens at 4 p.m. in the lobby of the Kimpton Everly Hotel, sponsored by ImLive. Arriving attendees can get an early start by picking up their XBIZ LA registration badges and settling in, before heading to the official Welcome Reception & Happy Hour in the main lobby bar that evening, sponsored by MobiusPay.

Tuesday, Jan. 10 marks the first full day of the conference, with event registration starting at 9:00 a.m. Then official programming kicks off at 11:00 with speed networking, sponsored by Vendo — a perennially popular networking event and a great way to level up your business connections.

Two panel sessions kick off at midday. “Making Cam & Fan Platforms Work for You” will offer tips for performers and creators, the latest platform updates and a glimpse at what might be next. Meanwhile “And… Action! Behind the Scenes with Studio Heads and Directors” gathers top content creatives for an update on movie production, genre trends, and more.

At 1:00 p.m., join the “Paysite Panel” for tips on how to drive traffic, ride content trends, and collaborate with talent to maximize conversions. Or drop in on “There’s No Business Like Gay Business” to explore the current LGBTQ+ market, from content to talent to tech.

After that, get the rundown on e-billing at 2:00 p.m. as “Show Me the Money” catches attendees up on the latest advances and developments in payment processing. Plus, Grooby will host a Trans Panel to update attendees on the latest trends in the trans market, from content production to monetization and beyond.

The last panels of the day start at 3:00 p.m., with Sssh.com presenting an “Industry Retrospective” looking back at how industry culture, technology and mainstream social trends have shaped the market over the past decade. Meanwhile, “XBIZ Performers of the Year” convene to discuss the projects that earned them coveted award nominations and share strategies for marketing, engaging with fans and diversifying.

Throughout the day, running parallel to the above programming, a series of bonus workshops will feature adult companies and organizations showcasing their particular expertise and mission:

At noon, payment processing company Vendo will present “2022 in Review — Data You Can Use,” examining e-billing performance indicators from 2022 plus recommendations for 2023. Meanwhile, BranditScan asks “How Much is Piracy Costing You?” in a workshop designed to help content creators combat piracy.

At 1:00 p.m., Loyalfans reviews monetization techniques, features and tools as reps explain how the company strives to be “Your All-in-One Fan Platform.” At the same time, industry attorney Corey D. Silverstein will discuss the legal pros and cons of model management in “Model Management Agencies: A Legal Perspective.”

At 2:00 p.m., it’s “Boost Your Brand and Earnings With the Power of Networking” from ePlay, offering creators insights on leveraging collaborations and referrals. Across the hall, Voiyal presents “Dirty Talk 2.0 — How to Monetize Your Voice,” covering how creators can earn revenue with their voice and deepen fan relationships.

The final company workshops of the day start at 3:00 p.m. as NMG shows pro and indie content players how to “Work Smarter, Not Harder” to maximize their revenue. Meanwhile, VR Fan Service teaches “Virtual Reality 101” for those interested in exploring virtual reality (VR) production.

At 4:00 p.m. it’s time for the first of three keynote presentations: visionary writer/director/producer Erika Lust, sharing the inside story of her mission to shape a change in the industry and expand the cinematic possibilities of porn.

That’s followed at 5:30 p.m. by a chance to join fellow XBIZ LA attendees on the sun deck for conversation and networking during the Mix & Meet Rooftop Happy Hour. Later in the evening, kick off 2023 with a celebration of bedroom fashion at the annual XBIZ Winter Wonderland lingerie and pajama party.

Wednesday, Jan. 11 starts off with event registration and a second speed networking session, this time sponsored by SextPanther. Then the afternoon goes into high gear with a fresh slate of panels and speakers.

At noon, journalists and media experts discuss public perception of the adult industry and sex work in a media panel entitled “Defending Sexual Expression in a Chaotic Media Lanscape.” Then at 1:00 p.m., XBIZ LA's second keynote speaker, director/performer Casey Calvert, will discuss her rise to fame as both an innovative auteur and in-demand performer.

At 2:00 p.m., prominent agents discuss what they look for in today's market and how performers can benefit from representation, in a session titled “Secrets of Agents.” Meanwhile, “Creators Gonna Create” brings together profit-savvy stars to delve into customs, feeds, chat goals, and other ways to boost revenue.

Capping off the afternoon’s panels is the 2023 New Year edition of “State of the Industry,” featuring elite business leaders breaking down current trends and market shifts, plus challenges and opportunities on the horizon.

Wednesday again features a slate of specialty workshops — this time not just from adult companies, but also from organizations working to support and protect both the industry and individual members of the community.

Pineapple Support kicks off the lineup at noon with “Maintaining Healthy Boundaries” for both creators and brand execs, while ASACP presents “Stopping CSAM and Protecting Your Business,” laying out best practices and technologies for keeping CSAM off sites and platforms.

At 1:00 p.m., Streamate hosts “110% — Operating at Your Highest Level,” where a panel of cam models will reflect on key factors and important decisions that helped them reach their goals. At 2:00 p.m., Clips4Sale presents “Create Your Fetish Brand and Succeed,” pinpointing tools and tips for building a successful fetish brand.

At 3:00 p.m., join the Cupcake Girls for “How We Empower Sex Workers” and learn how the group mentors and supports its clients for safety and success. Or sit in on “Tiptoe Into Crypto” from Hotline, which will address how one can get started in crypto while minimizing risk. Finally, at 4:00 p.m. the BIPOC Collective presents “Self-Care for Sex Workers,” a strategy session for preventing burnout, managing sexual health and accessing resources.

Wednesday also offers yet another perk: “Meet Up/Eat Up” sessions where attendees can stop in for a snack and a chat, courtesy of web app Voiyal, crypto platform CoinSmart, and cam platform Stripchat, hosting at noon, 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. respectively.

As the day begins to wind down, it’s time for the final keynote address. Join MojoHost co-founder and CEO Brad Mitchell at 4:00 p.m. as he shares his thoughts, expertise and personal experiences from 23 years in adult and talks about overcoming the odds and spreading good vibes.

Then, at 7:30 p.m., the annual XBIZ Honors ceremony, adult’s preeminent executive awards program, will spotlight outstanding business leadership as well as present select categories from the flagship 2023 XBIZ Awards. Afterwards, at 9:30 p.m., attendees can celebrate the evening's honorees at the Hollywood Wrap Party, hosted by MojoHost and Broker.xxx.

Thursday, Jan. 12 takes the conference in a new direction, devoting the entire day to a Free Speech Coalition strategy summit. The summit starts off at 11:00 a.m. with a 2022 Annual Report and 2023 Strategy session.

At noon, attendees can unwind and recharge with a Sound Bath, incorporating the healing benefits of sound waves, thanks to Pineapple Support.

The summit resumes at 2:00 p.m., with a Banking Discrimination panel bringing together financial experts to help attendees better protect themselves, plus an update on how FSC is fighting back. Afterward, attendees will have the opportunity to speak with the experts directly about their banking issues.

At 3:00 p.m., “Bills We Support and Laws You Can Use” will look at legal protections for adult business operators, as well as laws FSC hopes to see passed. Attendees are invited to stick around afterwards to learn about getting involved in FSC’s fight for better legislation.

At 4:00 p.m., the FSC Summit concludes with a business-critical strategy session, “Threats We Face in the Coming Year.” This discussion will bring attendees up to speed on everything from credit card bans and  proposed age verification mandates to social media deplatforming and censorship — and how to fight back.

Finally, after X3 Expo on Friday and Saturday, the 2023 XBIZ Awards will return on Sunday, Jan. 15 at the historic Hollywood Palladium, crowning the best-of-the-best and celebrating the adult industry’s biggest night.
