CLEAR Partners With MPOWERR for Testing in Atlanta Area

ATLANTA — CLEAR has teamed with MPOWERR Health & Wellness to provide testing for performers in the Atlanta area.

The partnership, which was formalized this week, will begin providing testing on Tuesday.

"MPOWERR’s founder, Taurus Jerelds, has been doing an amazing job making testing available in Atlanta, but they struggled with turnaround times and making it more accessible to the performer community in the area," said CLEAR CEO Humberto Buniotto. "From our very first call with Taurus we knew we were aligning ourselves with someone who puts community, accessibility and affordability first, which is what CLEAR is all about."

CLEAR will operate in the background as a reference lab. Performers can still book directly through MPOWERR.

"Public health and infectious disease control have been my passion for the last 19 years," said Jerelds. "My mission and vision as an epidemiologist and owner of a non-profit healthcare organization were to serve communities and populations in need; that did not exclude the sex work industry. Here at MPOWERR, we are committed to finding ways to provide effective and efficient healthcare services to all people, regardless of their ability to pay. I think this partnership will be the catalyst of an exciting and much-needed journey to reach the masses."
