Penthouse Names Amber Rose December 'Pet of the Month'

LOS ANGELES — Penthouse Magazine has named model and influencer Amber Rose as "Pet of the Month" for December.

Rose adorns the cover of the November/December edition of Penthouse, titled “The Naughty and Nice Issue,” wearing lingerie and the signature Penthouse key. She's accompanied by a grand piano.

"Featuring Amber Rose as December’s 'Pet of the Month' is undoubtedly the 'grand' finale to a truly amazing year," said Penthouse CEO Moose. "One look into her mesmerizing eyes, and we’re confident our audience will agree that Amber Rose embodies an essence of charm, style and sophistication that is a true reflection of the iconic Penthouse brand."

Rose shared her excitement at being selected, saying, "I have always wanted to do Penthouse. So when the opportunity arose, I pounced."

The full-time model also detailed some of the jobs she worked before she got her break, including smoothie girl, bartender, and personal shopper, and added that she'd eventually like to be a "billionaire philanthropist."

"I’ve honestly done it all," she said. "Nothing makes me feel better than doing for others."

Penthouse photo editor Sam Phillips praised Rose.

"Amber epitomizes upscale excellence and is in a class all her own," he said. "We were so impressed with her elegance, her style, her grace, her creativity, her smarts, and her work ethic. This lady is a lethal combo of perfection, passion and professionalism."

Creative Director Drew Rosenfeld noted, "Her beauty, style, and sex appeal are off the scales. She was also fun to work with. She is smart, funny, and loves the camera."
