HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Sinn Sage will be a featured participant in the University of Rhode Island's LGBTQ+ Liberation Month event as a keynote speaker as well as visiting Gender and Women's Studies classes. Sage will also take part in three other events focused on sex-positive educational messaging beginning Oct. 12.
“Since launching her career as a model two decades ago, Sinn has grown from a performer to a multifaceted content producer,” a rep said. “Further, Sinn has used her platform to inform people about the realities of being queer and a sex worker.”
In regards to the university’s LGBTQ+ Liberation Month programs and services, they will be open to faculty, staff and students, as well as the community at large. Some of the discussions will be made available to the public via Zoom rooms.
"I was thrilled beyond words when I got the invitation to be a keynote speaker at the University of Rhode Island for their annual sex week," Sage said. "I feel like that was the email I was waiting to receive for my entire career. I'm so excited to share the experience and knowledge I've gained in my 20 years of sex work with enthusiastic young adults who are interested in having real and candid discussions about human sexuality, pleasure, queerness, culture, capitalism, and the intersectionality of all of the above in an academic setting.”
“With plenty of room for some plain fun events as well, this encounter will absolutely be a highlight of my career. I can only hope that in the future, I will have more opportunities like this one to share my insights and experiences," Sage said.
