PARIS — Dorcel has released performer-director Whitney Wright's "Torn," starring Ana Foxxx and Skye Blue.

Gianna Dior, Violet Starr, Aria Lee and Damon Dice round out the cast.

"As Wright's film begins, busy professionals Olivia (Blue) and her brother Andrei (Dante Colle) haven't had much opportunity to see each other since their parents passed away," a rep said. "Fortunately, the preparations for her impending wedding are the perfect excuse for them to finally get together."

It quickly becomes apparent, however, that things are not going as smoothly as Olivia had hoped. "Her brother has decided to come with Naomi (Foxxx), his new girlfriend," continued the rep. "At first a little distant, the two young women will end up getting closer."

Daniel Metcalf, U.S.-based publicist for the studio, noted, "This movie captures all the elements that make Whitney Wright such a compelling voice as a director. 'Torn' is in the genre of 'Girls,' 'Lady Bird,' even 'I May Destroy You.' I'm thrilled to see Whitney creating her art alongside Alis Locanta, Liselle Bailey, Anna Polina and the other women directing for Dorcel."

"The acting by Ana and Skye is next-level," he added. "These are three-dimensional portrayals of women you could easily know. Each is initially cool and distant; each is convinced the other’s life is more 'real.'
