HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — X-Play has signed a deal with Bizarre Video and Joy Media Group to distribute its line of "Not..." parody titles on DVD and VOD, respectively.
The collection, produced by Will Ryder and Scott David, includes "Not the Cosbys XXX," "Not Married with Children XXX," "Not MASH XXX," "Not Bewitched XXX," "Not the Wizard of Oz XXX," "Not Three’s Company XXX," "Not South Park XXX," "Not the Bionic Woman XXX," "Not the Bradys XXX," "Not Charlie’s Angels XXX," "Not Airplane XXX," "Not Animal House XXX," "Rocky XXX" and "Britney Rears."
"We are thrilled to take over the distribution of this very special product line," said Bizarre VP of Sales David Peskin. "All of our customers are very happy because these classic titles were great sellers when they were released, and are selling again today. Now they will know they can come to Bizarre Video for the best classic parodies in the business — and I have to add that these movies are really produced well."
Scott David also enthused about the partnership.
