LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce the official list of categories for the 2023 XBIZ Awards, the adult industry's biggest night, set for Jan. 15, 2023, in Hollywood.
The 21st annual XBIZ Awards will cover the most extensive and inclusive range of categories in adult. The pre-nomination period is now open. Industry professionals who are registered members of XBIZ.net can access the pre-nomination submission form.
This year, in recognition of short-form narrative releases, XBIZ has introduced two new categories: Featurette of the Year and Best Sex Scene — Featurette. The Awards will also recognize outstanding performer firsts, such as "first DP," with the new category of Best Sex Scene — Career-First Performance, while Gay Movie of the Year has been expanded into two categories: Gay Feature of the Year and Gay All-Sex Release of the Year.
The final day for pre-nomination entries is Friday, Sept. 30.
To be eligible for nomination, movies and pleasure products must be released between Oct. 1, 2021 and Sept. 30, 2022.

The XBIZ Awards is the crown jewel finale to XBIZ's winter events series, including X3 Expo set for Jan. 13-14, 2023.
