Eldorado Celebrates Netflix's 'How to Build a Sex Room' With New Catalog

BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Eldorado has released its newest digital catalog, based on the hit Netflix show “How to Build a Sex Room.”

In the series, interior designer Melanie Rose, referred to as the “Mary Poppins of sex rooms,” meets with homeowners who want to “spice up their sex lives with rooms filled with specialty furniture and other decor designed to fulfill fantasies and fetishes.”

The eight-episode unscripted reality series features more than 50 pleasure products stocked by Eldorado, 16 of which the company is promoting through its August marketing campaign.

The first season of “How to Build a Sex Room” was filmed last year in Denver by a local production company, and all of the featured clients are from the metro area. “As the industry’s only Colorado-based distributor, Eldorado feels a special affinity with the show,” a rep said.

Along with a customized digital catalog, promotional product graphics can be found in Eldorado’s social media posts shared throughout the month.

Eldorado Marketing Strategist Jamie Newmark said the vision behind the campaign was to “highlight a selection of products to show a wide range of variety. With the growing popularity of ‘How to Build a Sex Room,’ there is an increasing chance that consumers might visit their local retail stores and ask for products that they have seen on the show. Stores that stock these popular products will be able to educate their customers beyond ‘as seen on TV’ fundamentals, which is a great way to build customer loyalty.”
