BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Eldorado's Wanda Garland is celebrating her 2022 StorErotica Awards win as Businesswoman of the Year.
Eldorado additionally took home the trophy as Distributor of the Year.
The in-person ceremony, hosted by Dr. Sunny Rodgers, was held during ANME in Burbank, California earlier this month following two years of paused live activities due to the COVID-19 lockdowns.
"Just being included in the businesswoman category, amongst so many accomplished women, is an honor. I am proud to be part of this progressive industry and all the important work we do for our local communities," Garland said.
A rep noted Garland mentioned the importance of free speech in her acceptance speech and warned of the risks the industry is currently facing.
"The threats are many," she said, citing the Supreme Court’s "hostility to sexual freedom, legislators eager to criminalize or bankrupt businesses, and extremist organizations bent on codifying laws for their own morality."
“We have shown that we are a powerful industry when we work together as a united front," added Garland.
