SAN DIEGO — Dick-Able, an adult performer with cerebral palsy, has penned an essay describing his first year as a cam performer for ePlay's "Community Streamer" blog series.
In his essay, Dick-Able describes the journey he’s undertaken to become a streamer with a disability while overcoming many insecurities and obstacles.
“I was battling with the notion that I was sexually unacceptable, meaning that nobody wants to see me nude," he said. "With these variables in play, it was a huge step for me to go against the grain and become a streamer."
When he is livestreaming, he feels "truly free."
"In society, I’m a man with a disability, but during my livestreams, I have a separate and private life. I have no shame in being a man with a disability, but I have realized that people pay less attention to what I am and more attention to what I am doing on camera.”
