LOS ANGELES — Penthouse Magazine has named model and influencer Destiny Rose as July's Pet of the Month.
The Polish model, wearing sunglasses and a thong, graces the cover of the July/August edition of Penthouse, titled “The Boss Babes Issue.”
“Penthouse has played a significant role in the adult industry since 1965,” said Rose. “It's an honor to be part of this process. Penthouse is an iconic magazine known for being unapologetic and scandalous, and that's me.”
At first glance, according to Rose, "many people see me as an innocent, sweet Polish girl, but little do they know that I actually have a black belt in taekwondo and spent a couple years of my life in the national Polish taekwondo team."
The model described emigrating to the U.S. two years ago as “the most daring thing I have done.”
“I had no friends or family here, and my English was really bad,” she admits. “However, I decided to chase my American dreams and get a college degree. It was challenging at first, and many people in Poland thought I was crazy. Hopefully, I proved them wrong.”
Photographer Gerald De Behr explained that Rose’s Penthouse Pet pictorial "went a little more cinematic" as photographer and model adapted to their location, a fake town used by Hollywood studios.
"Destiny embodied the perfect actress, taking on a different role with each look," said De Behr. "She brought so much charisma and energy to the set."
Penthouse CEO Moose praised the brand's newest Pet.
"It’s always an honor to meet a successful model and influencer who is enthusiastic about her work, and Destiny has the type of exuberant personality that we like to see," he said. "She is a risk-taker, not afraid of a challenge, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the Penthouse family."
Penthouse Photo Editor Sam Phillips described Rose as “hard-working, ambitious and unapologetic.”
Rose, she enthused, “doesn't take ‘no’ for an answer when she goes after what she wants ... Always keeping a positive mindset, Destiny has proven no obstacle or adversity could hold this ‘boss babe’ back when she landed on the cover and pages of Penthouse.”
