LAS VEGAS — Will Pounder is now self-booking his own adult film shoots.
“This is a new chapter, one which actually began in early 2020, when all of our lives were changed by the COVID pandemic,” Pounder said. “Everyone had to take stock, determine priorities and reorganize their work lives to fit ‘the new normal,’ while the industries we work in changed as well.”
Pounder also shared how he is expanding his efforts to get more mainstream work.
“More recently, I have been focusing a substantial portion of my energies on mainstream acting and sporting events,” he continued. “I've landed a couple leading roles in mainstream and I am in contact with agents. However, there was a concern amongst them about a potential conflict should I retain my adult agent.”
Though pivoting in any career can generate anxiety, Pounder said he feels positive about his decision.
"Meanwhile, I had been thinking for a while that, as an experienced project manager, I could manage my own bookings here in adult," he said. "I feel that the stars have aligned, and it’s a good time for me to get back in the driver’s seat with my adult movie career while my life, like the universe, unfolds on schedule."
