Allure Highlights Remote-Control Sex Toys, Long-Distance Play

LOS ANGELES — Allure Magazine published this week a survey rating the top remote-control vibrators for long-distance play.

The article, “15 Best Remote Control Vibrators You Can Use Near, Far, Wherever You Are,” was penned by Jennifer Hussein and highlighted products by We-Vibe, Lovehoney, LELO, OhMiBod, Satisfyer and many other top brands.

Those 15 toys “will do just the trick for long-distance relationships and hands-free solo play,” Hussein noted.

“Whether your sex life is burning hot or looking a bit dim, the best remote control vibrators can help heat things up,” she explained. “These high-tech vibrators, thrusters and erogenous-zone stimulators can give you wall-clawing orgasms, no partner needed.”

Hussein interviewed Toronto sexologist Jess O'Reilly, who offered that “not only does a remote control vibe allow you to weave eroticism throughout your day, but it often inspires you to flirt, tease, build anticipation and be more creative.”

To experiment with kink and BDSM play, O'Reilly recommended taking turns controlling the remote so that “both get the chance to tease and enjoy the thrill of anticipation. With all the options for vibration patterns and intensities, you'll always have something new to discover.”

The top 15 remote-control vibrators according to Allure are:

  • We-Vibe Chorus
  • Lovense Lush 3
  • LELO Tiani 3
  • OhMiBod BlueMotion Nex 1
  • Venus Butterfly Venus G
  • Lovehoney Hop Star Suction Cup Rabbit Vibrator
  • Hueman Black Hole Galactic Silicone Remote Control Cock Ring Butt Plug
  • Satisfyer Double Plus
  • Bang Remote Control Bullet
  • Mantric Remote Control Panty Vibrator
  • Happy Rabbit Remote Control Cock Ring
  • Svakom Ella Neo App Controlled Rechargeable Textured Love Egg Vibrator
  • Strap-On-Me Strapless Strap-On
  • Fetish Fantasy Vibrating Panty
  • Deia the Wearable

The piece also called these toys "a sexual game-changer for long-distance couples since many of them can be controlled via smartphone apps, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth."
