LOS ANGELES — Svakom is celebrating Kate Kozlova’s 2022 XBIZ Honors Award win in the category of “Community Figure of the Year.”
A West Coast sales rep for Svakom, Kozlova counts over eight years of industry experience; she started by building a career with Pink Rabbit, one of the biggest adult retailers in Russia, and relocated to the United States and started to work for Svakom.
“I was inspired to start a career in this field because I saw how many problems people had because of sex and the lack of communication about it. I always felt that my country was lacking sexual education and a rational approach to this topic,” Kozlova said.
At the beginning of the pandemic, she expanded into YouTube content creation with a personal channel named "In Bed With Kate," which offers product training and sex education.
“It is truly an honor for me to receive this award and I feel very grateful for the recognition of our work," she continued. "When I first attended the XBIZ Honors ceremony in Los Angeles, I remember thinking to myself, 'When I get one of those...' This award will be an essential part of my life. It will motivate me for the rest of my career. We are in an amazing business and work with the most open-minded, kind and intelligent people,” Kozlova said.
“I am very happy that, from my very first job, I realized that this is something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. This business is not only about profit margins, it’s a business that saves marriages, makes people happier, more satisfied and open-minded. I can’t imagine myself working in any other industry but this one," she said. "I am ready to do everything in my power for its development, growth, and shifting public opinion towards pleasure products."
