NEW YORK — Nominations have been announced for the fourth annual Pornhub Awards, recognizing the platform's top performers, channels and networks ahead of a virtual ceremony set for March 23.
This year, for the first time, "nominees and winners alike," noted a rep, will be receiving a cash prize in recognition of their achievements in addition to the Peter Saville-designed awards statuette.
Additionally, donations will be made to SWOP USA, a national social justice network focused on countering stigma and violence towards those in the sex trade through education and advocacy; and APAC, the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee, an organization run by and for adult performers advocating for improved safety and working conditions within the adult entertainment industry.
The rep said Pornhub's prizes and donations total $1 million dollars.
"This funding will help us continue to support the community via outreach, COVID resources, public education and advocacy," said Phoenix Calida, communications director at SWOP USA. "Sex workers face unique challenges, both in the fight for political rights and in the fight to end public stigma. We are passionate about this work and grateful that Pornhub is helping our efforts through this unrestricted donation."
A teaser trailer has been released featuring brand ambassadors Asa Akira, Natassia Dreams and Kira Noir along with Gwen Adora, Dante Colle, Abella Danger, LuxuryGirl, Rawr ItsBen, Ricky Johnson, Riley Reid, Angela White and Emily Willis.
The ceremony will be streamed on Pornhub.
