MONTREAL — Adult Time studio brand Transgressive Films, a spinoff from Transfixed, has returned with "Getting to Know You Again" starring Janelle Fennec and Ana Foxxx.

"Ana plays Carrie, a woman who spots a familiar face at her front door. She greets a woman named Monique (Fennec) who introduces herself, then announces she used to be Carrie's fiancé Devon before coming out as her true self," noted a rep. "After an exchange of heated words, Carrie asks Monique to leave — but not before Monique leaves her number and the opportunity to meet again if she so chooses. As Carrie weighs her options after saying goodbye to Devon, is there room for a second chance with Monique?"
Adult Time Marketing Director Frank Stacy noted the streaming service seeks to offer more trans content.
"We have brought back the original Transfixed spinoff series, Transgressive Films, for more episodes,” he said. “Our audience can expect more of the same story-driven dramatic offerings that made the first episodes released earlier in 2021 a success.”
Forthcoming episodes will "further treat viewers to an intriguing look into the lives of trans stars’ unique personal journeys," the rep said.
Midnight, who penned the script, explained the inspiration for the "bittersweet story" depicted in "Getting to Know You Again" is "the fact that every journey is different, and no matter what, sometimes people get hurt along the way, even those we love the most."
"We wanted to show one such example of this, with two exes coming to terms with the emotional turmoil they've both experienced," said Midnight. "The road to self-discovery can be a bumpy one, but at least, in this touching tale, it won't be one ultimately traveled alone."
