LOS ANGELES — Dante Colle is celebrating a pair of cross-genre wins from the 2022 XBIZ Awards; he is the first male performer to achieve such a feat.
"2021 was an incredible year for Dante’s career, and 2022 will be off-the-charts," a rep enthused.
The swordsman earned "Best Gay Sex Scene" honors for Noir Male (shared with DeAngelo Jackson under the direction of Ricky Greenwood) and "Best Performer Showcase Sex Scene" for "Influence: Emily Willis" for Deeper (shared with Willis and Mick Blue under the direction of Kayden Kross).
Additionally, Colle, inaugural winner of the all-inclusive XBIZ "Performer of the Year" in 2021, was onstage to pass the torch to this year's recipient, Maitland Ward.
"I'm honored to have received so many XBIZ Awards nominations and to have won two for my scene work. It was great to go to an awards show in real life, walk the red carpet and present an award to a real live audience," said Colle. "The show was a lot of fun, and I was happy to present Maitland the 'Performer of the Year' trophy and pass the torch onto her.'
