MONTREAL — Newly launched Disruptive Films has released "Buying Time" featuring Dante Colle and Dakota Payne as men who explore "the realistic fears and trepidations of being closeted," noted a rep.
Disruptive Films recently landed a 2022 XBIZ Award for "Gay Movie of the Year" for "The Last Course," written and directed by Bree Mills, who took on producing and directing roles with "Buying Time."
"Buying Time" is a "tense, emotion-packed drama about a man (Colle) who is harboring a secret and finds solace with a handsome new confidante (Payne)," the rep said.
Mills noted she is "proud to finally share this story" with Disruptive members.
"This was actually our very first production for the 'True Male' series, and we were so happy to be able to do it with two of our favorite actors, Dakota and Dante,” said Mills, who also serves as CCO for the Adult Time streaming service. “I knew I could count on them to deliver the realism and authenticity we needed to make this story hit home. I am so excited for fans to watch it."
"Buying Time," which appears under the studio's "True Male" imprint, debuts today on DisruptiveFilms.com; follow the new studio on Twitter.
