PEARL, Miss. — Tami Rose, owner adult megastore Romantic Adventures, is reflecting on the impact of her military training on her life and career this Veteran's Day.
Rose gave credit to her training in the U.S. Navy as "the primary reason for [my] achievements as a business owner."
"It gave me the discipline to get up every day and do the work in front of me, and is responsible for shaping my current management style," she said.
Specifically, Rose credits her leadership skills to the daily evaluations she received during training.
“Being a good leader and a fair boss is very important to me and I have many examples of both to look back on in the military,” she noted.
