Pipedream Offers New Course on WTU Health & Wellness Channel

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — Williams Trading Co. and Pipedream Products have partnered on a new course, titled "Pipedream: Health Benefits of Male Masturbation," available through the Williams Trading University (WTU) Sexual Health & Wellness e-learning platform.

The course covers an array of topics, from "the basics of male anatomy — which is helpful to those who don’t own a penis — to the health benefits of masturbation, to the use of toys," a rep explained.

Dr. Sunny Rodgers collaborated on the design of the module.

"Leave it to Pipedream Products to put together a course that highlights all the right reasons to encourage healthy masturbation,” she said. “This course is full of essential knowledge of why intimate pleasures can provide overall wellness for solo and partnered consumers, and it was fun to add in a few mythbusters as well. I appreciate being able to work alongside the Pipedream team to create this exceptional course that will truly benefit retailer’s knowledge."

While many products on the market are geared towards male pleasure, noted a WTU rep, "choosing the right one for a customer’s needs isn’t always easy. Just like a vagina, the penis has more than one erogenous spot, and sensitivity levels vary by the individual. So knowing penis anatomy and products that will stimulate each point is important."

Rachel M, coordinator for WTU, is happy to include a course for penis-owning consumers.

“We spend a lot of time focusing on toys for vulva-owners, but those with penises make up a large percentage of the consumer market,” she said. “A lot of those penis-owning shoppers have a tendency to gravitate toward the same products because they figure that that’s all there is for them; this course is going to help retailers be better able to assist those customers in finding the right product for their needs."

The course includes a downloadable reference sheet and links for additional information. At the end of the course, users will be invited to participate in a short quiz testing their newly acquired knowledge, which will also serve as an entry into a prize drawing.
