LOS ANGELES — Aubrey Kate takes center stage in the showcase "I Am Aubrey" from director Dana Vespoli and producer Aiden Starr, with its first episode debuting online today ahead of a full release in all formats on September 22.
The latest installment of Evil Angel's hardcore documentary profiles — whose subjects have famously included Katrina Jade, Riley Reid and Angela White — combines "backstage footage, penetrating interviews and hardcore sex scenes," a rep teased.
Her costar for today's debut is reigning XBIZ "Male Performer of the Year" Ramon Nomar.
“I am so honored to be the next face of the Evil Angel ‘I Am’ series,” enthused Kate. “I can’t wait for fans to see me as me, and not just acting as 'Aubrey Kate' in a porno.”
It is the first edition of the series to center on a trans performer, producer Aiden Star noted, and marks another milestone for Kate with Evil Angel, as she was the studio's first trans contract star in 2018.
"With a beautiful, bewitching face and a busty figure, platinum blonde Aubrey oozes glamour, but 'I Am Aubrey' reveals the humor, pain and real-life challenges behind the impeccable makeup, sumptuous wardrobe and seductive sexuality," continued the rep.
"Aubrey tells us about her growing-up years and the difficulties of being a trans person in a mainstream family and school system. We learn about her attraction to a XXX career and the hard work of achieving stardom," the rep said. "Filmmakers and costars describe Aubrey’s flashy, jet-setting persona and her drive for success. We see Aubrey at home, on sets and cavorting with fans at a convention. Meanwhile, the film examines the evolving state of transsexuality in porn and society."
Vespoli described her star as "incredibly talented and charismatic."
"It was an honor to work with her on ‘I Am Aubrey,’ which not only showcases her talent, but tells her story," the director said. "I was moved by her honesty and candor, and I think audiences will be as well."
Vespoli directs "Hollywood Glam" featuring Kate and Nomar, which opens with "a film noir intro," noted the rep. "Black-and-white footage shows Aubrey in opulent lingerie and lush elegance. She finds masculine backdoor man Ramon in a suit with a bow tie, and the image melts into vivid color as the lovers passionately kiss and disrobe each other. Aubrey gives a deep-throat blowjob, and she takes a skin-slapping anal ride, panting, spreading her derriere with manicured hands."
Additional featurettes will appear online in the coming weeks, including "Home in New York/Blow-bang" from Jonni Darkko on September 24, and "Pig-Tailed Dolls," opposite Kenzie Taylor and Ricky Larkin, a "Buttman"-style threesome from John Stagliano, on October 1.
October 8 will bring the debuts of "Hard Times/Squirt Gun Sex" with Chelsea Marie and Pierce Paris for Aiden Starr, and "Conclusion," wherein Kate "confronts the dilemma of her life — whether or not to complete her transition with surgery," said the rep.
