LOS ANGELES – Producer, performer and entrepreneur Wendy Williams has been nominated as "Creator of The Year (Trans)" by the 2021 YNOT Cam Awards.
Williams is the winner of the very first XBIZ Award for "Trans Performer of the Year" in 2010.
"For content creators, it's been difficult during the pandemic but fans continue to support independent models, like Wendy, who continue to release exclusive content across their fan platforms," a rep explained. "Wendy has updated those sites with NSFW clips and BTS content from her club shows, interviews, polls and fun pictures from her daily activities at home or the club."
Williams noted she is "pleasantly surprised by the nomination."
"I am happy that not only my content subscribers enjoy my hard work, but also my peers," she said. "After 20 years in front of the camera, and through a pandemic, I have continued to rely on my fans to help me get through it all. Once COVID-19 numbers are manageable, I will travel to work with studios and shoot exclusive content for my sites, until then it will be me, my camera and tripod."
