OnlyFans Starts Promoting Nudity-Free 'OFTV' App

LONDON — OnlyFans has revealed the availability of a new app named OFTV that exclusively features videos with no nudity or adult content.

The app was first released in January and the company has only now started advertising it; OFTV complies with demands from Apple and Google that no adult content be distributed through their app stores.

According to Bloomberg, OFTV launched with “a library of more than 800 videos, including the original series ‘Unlocked,’ which features conversations with creators such as Mia Khalifa, Bella Thorne and Holly Madison. It also includes original videos from Pilates instructors, chefs and podcasters. The app is available on all the major devices, including iOS, Roku and Amazon Fire.”

OnlyFans CEO Tim Stokely told Bloomberg that “OFTV provides a super-convenient way for fans to watch content from favorite creators. There’s no adult content on OFTV. Because it’s not being monetized and there’s no direct impact on creators’ earnings, we are able to be in the app store.”

According to Bloomberg, “the new app is part of the company’s strategy to shed its reputation as a purveyor of pornography and rebrand itself as a vital tool for all online creators.”
