Himeros Titles Selected for San Francisco PornFilmFestival

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. — Two recent titles from Himeros.tv have been named as official selections of the 2021 San Francisco PornFilmFestival, which screens Nov. 11-28 online and in person, as pandemic safety protocols allow.

Himeros was a 2021 XBIZ Awards nominee for "Gay Site of the Year."

The first selection, "Every Cut Is a Lie," is described as "a stunning 25-minute uninterrupted single take released in April starring Nate Grimes and Niko Nova," noted a rep.

The second selection is "Loved Him," a "moving scene featuring two lovers who survived the AIDS epidemic," the rep said. "They reflect on their friends and lovers who passed away in this heartfelt and timely selection."

In related news, Himeros and its founder Davey Wavey have recently wrapped a new project titled "Sacred Sex."

"For many gay and bisexual men, there's a tremendous amount of baggage around spirituality and the sacred. And for good reason; our wounds are deep and painful. And yet, there's also an opportunity to reclaim that which was used against us and to embody the truth that our gay sex is, indeed, sacred," Wavey said.

"For this project, we are excited to partner with Nic Reveles, a former Catholic priest turned gay tantric instructor, who worked with the performers and helped shape the concepts," continued Wavey. "His experience and wisdom were instrumental in creating videos that are as healing as they are hot."

The cast of "Sacred Sex" includes Ray Dexter, Drew Dixon, Troye Jacobs, Nico Nova, Tomik 9.5 and Jack Valor and is set for a September premiere.
