LOS ANGELES — Director Casey Calvert has unveiled cover images for the imminent release of the second season of her XBIZ award-winning original series “Primary.”
The two alternate cover images feature Calvert — who makes her series debut as a performer in Season Two — Cam Damage, Ana Foxxx, Kira Noir, Derrick Pierce and Victoria Voxxx.
“I’m incredibly excited for the premiere,” Calvert told XBIZ. “When we started writing it, months ago, the challenge was to be able to match the artistic and commercial success of Season One — it was a high benchmark, indeed. But now that we're all done, I can honestly say Season Two is even better.”
The two alternate cover images feature the six performers in an intricate embrace, highlighting the themes of the innovative series — shot with “Netflix-style” mainstream production values and produced in Los Angeles by Barcelona-based studio Lust Cinema — which encompass polyamory, gender fluidity and a contemporary approach to fidelity, romantic ethics and modern love.
“I’m so proud and honored by the hard work and dedication everyone put into this project,” Calvert added. “The cast went above and beyond just playing the parts — every one of them expanded their characters and did the work to bring these people to life. Everyone on the crew understood we weren't ‘just shooting porn,’ and they all showed up with their A-game ready to create something special. I'm so grateful to all of them.”
The second season of “Primary” will debut this month through Lust Cinema.
