NAPA, Calif. — Vibratex, the exclusive North American importer of the Magic Wand brand, has launched its second annual Pride month charitable drive to benefit California's LGBTQ Connection.
The company is offering donors an exclusive — "and adorable," noted a rep — Pride pin featuring the Magic Wand, in addition to other prizes, with proof of donation while supplies last.
"Given everything that humanity has survived recently, 2021’s Pride is especially meaningful,” Vibratex Owner and VP Shay Martin said. “The significance of human connection that’s joyous and unfettered is even more pronounced this year. We want to celebrate Pride and community in a way that’s both fun and impactful."
"Small organizations of all types were heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, and small nonprofits doing vitally important activist work certainly felt a significant brunt. We are choosing to support Napa-based LGBTQ Connection for a second year to help reinforce this essential local organization,” Martin added.
Those wishing to support LGBTQ Connection through the Vibratex Pride Pin campaign may donate directly to the org; the donor will then receive one of the following prizes from Vibratex:
- $10 donation: Vibratex will match the donation and the donor will receive one Pride pin
- $15 donation: Vibratex will match the donation and the donor will receive one Pride pin and one additional pin of choice
- $34 donation: the donor receives one Magic Wand Original and one Pride pin
To claim a prize, submit a screengrab of the receipt documenting the donation as well as a preferred choice of second pin (if relevant), shipping address and email address here.
Submissions that do not include full documentation cannot be processed. The pin drive donation period ends on June 30, 2021 at midnight (PDT). Donation documentation must be submitted no later than July 15, 2021 at midnight (PDT).
Recipients must be over the age of 18 and located in the United States or Canada.
