SAN FRANCISCO — Pink and White Productions has announced "Shiny Shorts," a one-night-only virtual event, set for this Thursday at 5 p.m. (PDT) on PinkLabel.tv, hosted by Shine Louise Houston, that promises "an inside look at the iconic and award-winning adult short films which span the filmmaker's prolific career."
Participants will have the opportunity to interact with Houston, and each other, through a live moderated chat feed as the director stops to pause and rewind the six featured shorts: "Occupied," "Put the Needle on the Record," "Writing in Bed," "CrashPad Classics: Siren Wolf and Zelda du Jour," "Birthday" and Houston's latest, "Camera and I."
"This unique, one-of-a-kind presentation offers a rare chance for cinephiles to get up close and personal with one of the industry's leading queer porn producers," a rep said.
The event is free to PinkLabel+ members; non-members may purchase a $7 Film Pass. The screening is in English and open to those aged 18 and older; audio descriptions and closed captioning are not available.
